Books For Mature Workers

I read ALOT of books and I list these book recommendations as "Best In Their Class" from all the books I read on these topics. I've arranged links directly to Amazon.com for your convenience. Simply click on the book title to see more about the book or to order.

"Resumes For The 50+ Job Hunter" A guide to effective resumes for the 50+ group, the largest growing population segment in the US. (Use your clout folks!)

"So What If I'm 50?" If you're over 40, you know the job market can be a challenge. Here is a helpful book with some useful strategies.

"Stop The Career Clock" This book was described as a "blast of optimism" in a book review on Amazon. It's a useful guide with a 7 step plan to find meaningful work.

"The Challenger Guide to Job Hunting Success for Mid-Career Professionals" pretty much says it all. Another useful guide.

"The Portable Executive" The subtitle of this book tells what it's about, "Building Your Own Job Security." This book emphasizes the importance of mastering your "portable" skills to succeed in the new transitional work force.
